What is BOID ?
A beneficial owner identification number (BOID) is a unique 16-digit number assigned to each investor when a demat account is opened through an authorized depository participant (DP) in CDSC. This number is essential for all future securities transactions and ensures that securities are accurately credited or debited. Each BOID is unique and cannot be duplicated, ensuring secure and error-free transfers. The BOID consists of two parts such as DPID (first 8 digits): identifies the depository participant, and Client ID (last 8 digits): identifies the individual account holder. What is Demat Account ?

Can I sell shares that are available in the TMS DP holding but not in Meroshare?
You cannot sell shares that are not shown in MeroShare, even if they appear in DP Holding in TMS. If you sell such shares without proper verification, you may be charged a 20% penalty. This issue is usually caused by a system error in TMS. If you notice this, please contact our office for immediate assistance.
Can we purchase shares if collateral is automatically seen without loading into TMS?
You cannot buy shares if the collateral amount is not properly loaded in TMS, even if it appears randomly. This might be due to a system error. if you see such an issue, please contact our office immediately for assistance.
How can I add my PAN card details to my TMS account?
To update your PAN information:
- Send an email to csr@prabhustock.com.
- Attach a clear image of your PAN card
- Include your client ID in the email
Once we receive your request, our concerned teams will process and update your information in our TMS system.
How can I change my BOID in my TMS account?
- Log in to your MeroShare account (visit our website: www.prabhustock.com > click Login Menu > then click Mero Share Login)
- Go to the My Details section and download it in PDF format, i.e. DEMAT confirmation letter.
- Send us an email at csr@prabhustock.com along with DEMAT confirmation letter of both of your DEMAT account (Old and New), a copy of citizenship certificate, and your client ID.
How can I change the details in TMS?

How can I increase my collateral?
At Prabhu Stock Market, the collateral limit is 1:1 for every client. This means you must load 100% of the amount before buying stocks. Please make sure your collateral is fully loaded to avoid any issues during trading.

I got my client id but still not received any password in my email account why?
Once your TMS account is approved by NEPSE, you will receive a password reset link at the email address you provided during registration.
- If the email address was correct, you will receive the link automatically.
- If the email address was incorrect or outdated, please contact us via phone or send an email to csr@prabhustock.com with your client id to request an update.

I haven't got my bonus shares. Why?
For certain companies, bonus tax may be applicable on distributed shares. To confirm whether bonus tax applies to your holding, please visit the website of the respective merchant bank or contact them directly.
Is broker commission deducted during both sales and purchase of shares?
Brokerage commissions are applicable on all share transactions, inculding both purchases and sales.
Is PAN number mandatory?
You only need a PAN number if your are doing trading activities above Rs. 5 lakhs at once.

Right now I don't have citizenship with me. How can I open a TMS Account?
To open a Trade Management System (TMS) account, submission of a valid citizenship document is mandatory. Applications without this document cannot be processed.
What are tax rules on sales of shares?
Capital gains tax is deducted based on the type of account and holding period.
- 7.5 % on profits for individual investors holding shares for less than one year.
- 5 % on profits for individual investors holding shares for more than one year.
- 10 T on profits for corporate account holders, regardless of the holding period.

Why am I not able to do fund settlement?
We strongly advise against initiating fund settlements manually through TMS. The settlement amount will be automatically deducted from your collateral balance. After completing your stock trades, please verify the remaining balance under available collateral in TMS to ensure sufficient funds for future transactions.
Why am I not able to make a settlement with my collateral amount?
The settlement amount will be automatically deducted from the collateral funds deposited. Manual settlement is not permitted for this process. If you plan to make additional purchases, please ensure sufficient collateral is available by depositing the required amount in advance.
Why is my DNA logged off?
Access to the DNA system is available from Sunday to Thursday, between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm only. Outside these hours and on other days, the system will be logged off for security purposes.
Why is my tax deductible on the merger company although it's tax free?
If you hold shares of a merged company, please ensure you tick the "Merger and Acquisition" option under the My Purchase Sources section in your Mero Share Account. If this option is not available, you must contact the concerned department within T+1 day of the transaction. Alternatively, you can email us at csr@prabhustock.com for assistance.
Why is the debit account not seen in TMS after selecting Connect IPS?
If you're experiencing issues with Connect IPS transactions, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- Pending verification of your Connect IPS details by the bank.
- A reduced transaction limit set by the bank.
For either case, please contact your respective bank for assistance.
How can I load collateral?
You can load collateral through Trade Management System (TMS) and various digital payment platforms such as Connect IPS, Prabhu Bank Internet Banking, Nepal Payment Solution, eSewa, Khalti etc.
Load collateral through TMS.
- Log in to TMS or click here: https://tms99.nepsetms.com.np/login
- Enter your username and password to log in.
- Navigate to Collateral Management and click Fund Management > Collateral Management > Load Collateral
- You will see multiple options to load collateral. Select one of the following: Connect IPS, Nepal Payment Solution, Prabhu Bank Internet Banking, eSewa, Khalti
- Input the amount you want to load as collateral
- Confirm your details (name, account number, etc.).
- Proceed with payment depending on the method that you selected.
- After successful payment, you'll receive a confirmation message.
- The collateral amount will be reflected in your TMS account under collateral balance.
In the case of the amount loaded from Connect IPS, how long does it take to load?
Loading the collateral usually takes a few minutes. The amount may take up to 15 minutes to appear in your TMS account, so just wait a bit and refresh your dashboard if needed.
Is there any limit to load amount in TMS?
No, there is no specific limit to the amount you can load as collateral through TMS. But each payment method you use to load collateral may have its own transaction limits.

After you complete a trading activity, it takes 3 working days for the payment to be settled and refunded to your bank account.
How can I get my payment refund?
You can send an email to trading@prabhustock.com and include your client ID, registered mobile number, email address, and why you need the refund amount and provide issue details. Once we receive your request, we will process your refund and send the payment on the same day.
How can I remove payment due in TMS?
You cannot remove the "Payment Due" notice in TMS by yourself. But don't worry, it won't stop you from trading. We recommend checking the statement sent to your email, not the one shown in TMS. Also, compare the available collateral on your TMS dashboard with the balance shown in your account transaction statement to make sure everything matches.
How long does it take to refund the collateral?
If you need a refund, please follow these steps:
- Visit our website: www.prabhustock.com
- Click Login Menu, then click TMS Buy/Sell.
- Enter your TMS username and password to log in.
- Navigate to Fund Management > Refund Collateral and enter your amount to submit your request.
Once we receive your request, we will process your refund and send the payment on the same day by 6 pm.
If it still doesn't process from there, you can email trading@prabhustock.com with your TMS client ID, and the concerned department and teams will check and assist you.
I requested the refunds a few days ago and I already received it, but in TMS, it still shows the refund request pending. How can we fix it?
Once you request a refund, the amount will still show under the "Refund" section in TMS by default. But don't worry, this won't stop you from trading.

One week ago I sold my shares / I have already asked for a refund in the email but I haven't got my payment yet.
Sometimes, your payment may be delayed due to mismatched bank details or book closure of companies, which can delay sales settlement.
If this happens, please send an email to trading@prabhustock.com with your client ID and details of the issue. We will check and assist you as soon as possible.
When will the TMS be updated with the amount received from selling the shares?
The amount will be automatically updated in your TMS account about 30 minutes after you sell your stocks. Please check your account after 30 minutes to see the updated balance.
Around 1 pm I had sold shares but I haven't gotten EDIS yet, why?
The mapping process is being handled by the back office; please try doing EDIS tomorrow between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
Note: EDIS can only be done after 5 or 5:30 PM on the day shares are sold.

Closeout stock release process:
- After paying the fine, please send an email to account@prabhustock.com.
- Attached the payment voucher as proof.
- Mention in the email that you are requesting to release the closeout stock share.
I have forgotten to do EDIS. What can I do now?
You need to pay 20% of your total transaction as a fine. To check your fine balance, email account@prabhustock.com with your account statement. You can pay through loading TMS or making a direct payment to the broker through a digital payment platform.
I have renewed my DEMAT account already. But my account is still frozen, why?
Step 1: Check purchase details.
- Go to My Purchase Source in your Mero Share account.
- Click on the share you want details for.
- You'll see WACC calculations.
- Click on the company's share and then click proceed.
Step 2: Confirm Holdings
- Go to My Holding from the top bar.
- Find the respective share and click Confirm on its holding details.
Step 3: Transfer shares for settlement.
- Go to My EDIS from the navigation bar.
- Click on Transfer Shares.
- Select the share you want to proceed with.
- Click Confirm to send it for settlement.
My shares in Mero Share are frozen, why?
You must renew your DEMAT account every fiscal year; check your renewal status and renew it as needed, and this will help unfreeze your account and keep it active.

- Please check the book closure list on the respective companies websites or other social media.
